little check in

November 27, 2012

hello my dear ones…

i know i have been missing from this space more and more. i miss you. i wish i could be here more but things are really slowing down for me. it’s my third trimester and i am just trying to take it easy right now.

baby nursery

i have been nesting a ton lately. and with a ton of help from my mom and a good friend i have made huge progress in the nursery and my studio. there is still much to do but at least the nursery looks like a nursery and the studio a studio. whew!

last week i hosted thanksgiving dinner… and when i woke up that morning i thought, what in the world am i thinking. but it was a lovely day and i had a load of help from my family. i don’t think i washed a single dish.

we put up our christmas tree over the long weekend and the girls are so enjoying it. i think the christmas tree has gotten more hugs from my youngest daughter than me. she seriously has a special relationship with the tree and has little conversations with it. so dang cute!

december is going to fly by… and so is january. and before i know it, this baby will be here. i can’t believe it. so even if i am not here a lot in the next few months, just know i am thinking of all of you. i will stop by when i can.

I love your creative home! Is that snow outside your dining room window? We don’t have any yet, and I look forward to the snow. It makes the landscape so beautiful. However, by March you can have it all! 🙂
