journal challenge days 71 & 72

hello peeps! just checking in after a super fun day yesterday. i know i missed posting my journal page, but for very good reason. it involved a trip to boulder colorado, a showing of it’s a wonderful life (highly recommended), dinner at a fine french restaurant (so delicious), good wine, and many laughs with my husband and one of my dearest and oldest girlfriends. we all got dressed up and were looking our finest. but the running joke of the evening was that my husband got more compliments than us two girls. he was dressed in a three piece suit and a fedora hat tilted ever so slightly. my hubby is a rare breed because he really likes getting dressed up and going out on the town. he is a people person all the way and was eating up all the compliments he was receiving throughout the evening. most hysterical comment goes to the bartender, “pimp it dawg”! our one tragic mistake was not taking a picture of all of us.
