journal challenge day 3

September 30, 2011

an exploration of mess. and subtle colors. and random papers. because you sometimes need to change direction. and it just feels right. because you never know where a page might go. i love the wonder and new.

materials used: found papers, vintage book pages, painted papers, watercolor paint, adirondack color wash spray inks, acrylic ink, texture tape from home repair store, pilot pen, stitching.

my favorite part of these pages might just be the contribution from my daughters. i gave them each a pen and let them go. i love the messy little scribbles the best. sometimes when you need authentic scribbles kids are just so much better at it than us.
