journal challenge days 168, 169 & 170

April 19, 2012

wow… i have a ton of days to catch up on right now for my art journal challenge. just went back and counted and i have over 30 days if i want to finish in a year. it’s been hard to get back in the groove everything going on lately. but i forced myself to finish these pages today.

journal entry: sometimes i think rest is the most important part of the creative process. we think we always have to be producing. always doing… when really the most productive thing we could do is rest. sometimes we have to commit to rest, and we have to force ourselves to do it. so that we can return strengthened. to receive the next thing.

materials used: acrylic paint, collage, india ink, vintage fabric, pen.

materials used: collage, vintage paper, ribbon, stitched paper, acrylic paint, painted paper, pen.

Your work and your journal entries are messages I look forward to. The words especially resonate with so much that I too have experienced. Thanks so much for being you and having the courage and caring to put yourself out there. Your struggles are mirrored by many and naming them helps us all heal.Much love is beamed at you!

no i am not worried. i just did these ones but i actually haven’t decided if i am even going to bother. the only reason i am thinking about it is pinterest because it’s so easy to have your credit lost on pinterest. nothing against the site, it’s just what happens.
