March 29, 2012

it’s spring break and i am so not getting very much done with the girls being home. but i did manage to fit in a journal page. i need to get caught back up next week. i am trying to be kind to myself. especially with all of the growth and stepping out going on right now. it’s not easy work and i am exhausted to be honest.

journal entry: let go of who you think you should be

materials used: cardboard, gesso, acrylic paint, printed out words, stitching, painted papers.

I really like the stitching in this and a few of your other recent posts! I’m going to have to try that too! Thanks for the inspiration.

I look at our decades-old perennial gardens: God does not ask the flowers to bloom all the time, and all the cycles of the plants are beautiful…

Love your cardboard journals pages too!
