journal challenge day 96
oh my! today is one of those days where i am struggling to get my journal challenge done. sometimes it’s not easy to stick with a commitment like this one. but i am trudging through. i am teaching class tonight so i am hoping to get a whole bunch done then, crossing fingers. anyways, i thought i would share day 96 even though i am not sure if it is even done yet. it’s basically some doodles with acrylic paint and ink.
i was inspired by traci bautista and this awesome free e-course through strathmore. i kind of did a mix of week one and week two and i skipped a lot of steps in between. of course, i have a hard time copying what an artist does exactly. i like to take elements of they do and somehow mix them into my own. i tried to copy what she did in the videos and my papers quickly turned into a hot mess. i have to somehow make it my own.
no journaling on this page, but i thought i would share.
materials used: acrylic paint, and acrylic ink.
love it – reminds me of bodies…
Wendy~ i acknowledge the way you continue to create your goal!
and celebrate that you are almost to 100 days of ART journaling!
I am so happy to have discovered you ..I don’t paint…yet.. but I love the inspiration you provide here.. (:
so glad you are here! i hope you are inspired to pick up a paint brush soon.
Big and chunky and delish! Looks like something that could be licensed and turned into beautiful wrapping paper or wall paper!
thanks so much!
love it wendy…very fresh…kind of minty.
