12 mini canvases

June 27, 2011

i had an absolute blast painting these mini 5 x 5 canvases! just thought i would share close ups of all of them. i took them down to a call to life this weekend to promote my show in august. i still can’t believe that i painted all of these in one day. it completely changed the way that i paint. it’s amazing how changing the canvas size really can stretch you out of what you normally do. i learned how to use restraint. i am in love with these little canvases.

Such an impressive series! I particularly love how you adhered some delicate lace and trim to several of the canvases!
