look what came in the mail!
i really should not have been spending money right now. but i could not resist when i found these amazing antique letterpress letters from nicnak’s vintage. i wandered into this etsy store for it’s dazzling vintage knobs and pulls. let’s just say that there is a soft spot in my heart for antique knobs. it kind of goes with my obsession for wanting to refinish every piece of craigslist furniture i find. and i think that the hardware on a piece of furniture makes all the difference in the world.
i ordered 50 of these letters
back to these amazing letters. they are a mixed media artist’s dream. i love to mix sizes and fonts in my work and these are just perfect. i used them to make these valentine tags yesterday. now i just want a huge set so i can do my really big paintings with them. here are some of my other favorites from this store.

Oh my goodness,you lucky thing.What a yummy shop they have.There are a few things there I like too but to expensive to send to Australia.
yes i want to buy all of her vintage knobs. but right now i am just spray painting the ones i already have. 🙂 it is really pretty easy. but i love the way hers are mismatched. and i would kill for that chandelier too. imagine how fun that would be hanging in my studio!
