happy friday

July 30, 2010

happy friday friends! i have been experimenting with making my own papers this week. i have to say it is a rather slow business of making paper. but i am just trying to get one paper done every day. here are a few examples of what i have done so far. like i said, it is totally an experimental process!

make your own patterned pappers

make your own mixed media papers

on another note, my class starts tonight and i couldn’t be more excited! i am a tad bit nervous, but mostly excited. i keep thinking, wow i get to spend the whole evening playing. no kids. me time! and i get paid to do it. it doesn’t seems fair. here are some fun paper packets i am putting together for my students. i want each of my students to feel like they are getting the special treatment. oh, and i will be sure to pick up some yummy chocolates to share.
